What materials is the beanie made of?

• inner and outer layer made from 20D breathable high density down proof nylon tafetta. The outer layer is shiny, the inner one is matted. Manufactured in US.
• headband made from ProCool Athletic Wicking Interlock. Thin, light, high-performance fabric with superior wicking for a cool, dry and fresh feel. Manufactured in US.
• filling made from premium white goose down. Filling power 860cuin. Manufactured in Poland. The down and feathers are only taken from ecological dead goose/ducks. Blend: 95% down, 5% feather

What if the beanie gets wet?

The outer shell material will repel light mist but in heavy rain it would get wet. The down would clump together and not provide the warming effect. You should dry it completely and then massage the baffles to recover the loft.

How much does the beanie weigh?

What sizes is the beanie available in?

One size. It will fit 56-60 cm head circumference (measure around ears).
There is a sew-in cord lock and a shock cord inside the lower edge, you can use it to tighten or loosen the hat. I like to tighten the shock cord when it's very windy or cold to tuck the ears in, and release when it's warmer. During winter I sometimes would combine it with a light micro-fleece hat or a Buff underneath.

How can I wash the beanie?

I recommend to dry clean the hat. If you decide to wash it at home, then do at 40 degrees, double rinse and tumble dry on low heat along with some drying balls or clean tennis balls.
