An ultralight nylon beanie filled with high quality white goose down. Adjustable with a shock cord and sewn-in spring double cord lock. Designed for hiking, fishing, skiing and any other outdoor activities.

Materials:
- inner and outer layers made of 20D breathable calendared wind-proof ripstop nylon. The outer and inner layers are matted. Manufactured in TW.
- headband made from polyester Athletic Wicking Interlock. Thin, light, high-performance fabric with superior wicking for a cool, dry and fresh feel.
- filling made from premium white goose down. Filling power 860cuin. Manufactured in Poland. The down and feathers are only taken from ecological dead goose/ducks. Blend: 95% down, 5% feather
One size. Will fit 56-61 cm head circumference (measure around ears). I like to tighten the shock cord when it's very windy or cold to tuck the ears in, and release when it's warmer. During winter I sometimes would combine it with a light micro-fleece hat or a Buff underneath.

My son studies graphical design, he created the care tag which is sewn on the inside of the headband.
I designed this beanie because I wanted a warm hat for the often super windy and cold summer fly fishing trips to Northern Sweden. And I wanted something ultralight and super packable, and that's where the natural goose down is the best. I used it during my two Appalachian trail hikes and it worked very well. The down beanie is often the last line of defense,- when I'm wet and cold after a long day of hiking or fishing, I would change into dry clothes and wear the down beanie, and it would make me warm and happy.
This beanie is proudly hand sewn in Latvia.
I recommend to dry clean the hat. If you decide to wash it at home, then do at 40 degrees, double rinse and tumble dry on low heat along with some drying balls or clean tennis balls.
